but, you know when rail companies lose franchises? what do they do then? i mean, for example, gner has lost the east coast service from edinburgh to london and national express will be taking over later this year. what do gner do with all their trains and stuff? a statement says they're 'looking to the future' but surely they don't HAVE a future if they've not got a franchise?
