i met a guy recently who seemed really nice at first but as i got to know him a little bit better it became more and more apparent that he had no social skills at all. he was incredibly awkward, not a great conversation holder, didn't really have any friends and still lived at home at 23. it's really strange. because i didn't exactly have many friends when i was a kid or anything, and i was an only child who spent most of my childhood with my head in a book, but i turned out okay. a little too sarcastic sometimes, perhaps, but i can hold a conversation and make friends fairly easily. what do you think causes this? how are you with people?
