I have £30 left of my £1000 overdraft, and I'm not going to get paid on Friday because my agency moved office without telling anyone, and thus, did not receive my timesheet. But that's a whole other angry story... It also doesn't help that I haven't really got used to be paid a bit less than what I was on before.

Is there anything I can do to avoid exceeding my limit? I've never actually done it before, but I've been close plenty. I've already tried getting my limit extended, but they rejected me.

Advice please… Also, how long would it take to get a credit card?
