Just recently moved out of my house. On a bond of £575 she's only paying back £280! I'm bloody fuming.

We stayed in the house 'till September the 10th, but gave her plenty of notice of this, and we agreed she could take this from the bond. She's taken half a month's rent off the bond for these 10 days! Then in her letter she said she'd taken a further £54 off for professional cleaning, despite the fact she said herself in the letter that there was no damage beyond reasonable wear and tear!

Then to add further insult to it, I double checked her maths, and she's rounded the figure DOWN to save herself an extra £3.50.

One strongly worded letter will soon be winging its way to her.
