the bank where my savings account was got taken over, and they gave me some money, so i've decided to get a laptop. I'd love to get a macbook, but after going on the uni website, it says you shouldn't get one as it can't hook up to their network, which is stupid. I'm still contemplating getting one, but if I were to get a normal laptop, is there any way of buying one with XP, not Vista? I hate vista, and i have a penchant for illegal downloads, which i've heard it doesn't allow. any help gratefully received! or if anyone's selling a macbook/ibook...??
