Getting emails from friends you haven't heard from for ages. Pretty ace?

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 01:16, 25 September '07

I'm in a really good mood now - I just got an email from my Canadian friend who I knew from my MA a few years back.

For a while after she went back to Canada we exchanged ridiculouly long, detailed emails but then we (or probably specifically me) fell out the habit and we've not really spoken bar the odd "we should send a long email update soon" thing for a good year or two.

And now I've got this nice long email I need to reply to, which is ace! It's nice to know someone you knew a few years back still remembers you and cares enough to keep in touch, especially as she's the only long distance friendship I've got really.

As ever, not sure what my point is in posting this but we'll see if it prompts any kind of discussion about long-distance friendships or that kind of thing.
