It made me laugh out loud in my hired astra estate 1.6. Basically there was a phone-in about the Bhurma situation and bacon (who i used to hate, but now quite like, on radio at least) was asking what the West should do etc. Loads of folk suggested increased sanction, a bit of military intervention and so on and then this lady phoned up and said we should stop sticking our noses in to other countries affairs. Fair enough said Bacon, but what about the likelihood of the army killing all the monks etc? To which her reply was that we should let these people work it out for themselves as it's the bears in China who are made to dance and fight dogs, who need our help, they have no voice!

Bacon said thanks for the call but he thought her views were utterly ludicrous. I laughed.
