I'm selling my modded (original) xbox. I'm a bit gutted about this since I said this is something I'd never do, but I've now officially got too many geek machines under the telly.

It's been fitted with a chip to allow it to play unoffical software and that; so as well as having pretty much every arcade game ever made sat on the hard disk, it also runs a very cool thing called Xbox Media Centre. Basically, you can plonk it under your TV, hook it up to your network, and it can play films (even DivX stuff) and music from your computer, and lots of other cool stuff.

That said, it's not the simplest thing in the world; you might have to do some work with the settings and that to get it up and running. Nor does the DVD drive work all that well, hence the lowlow price of £40. If you're in london you can even pop round and have a look if you like.

(incidentally, I swore I'd never do this because its the ONLY console that allows me to play WWF Wrestlefest - the best arcade game ever made - on my TV)
