Just saw a Yahoo poll that showed that 61% of those who had replied believed that organs should be taken for donationafter death UNLESS the recently deceased had expressed wishes otherwise. I can't really put my finger on why, but this makes me slightly uncomfortable, as I've always felt it is the sort of thing that should only be done with express permission from the person or failing that, next of kin.

Am curious to hear if anyone else here has an opinion on the matter
