my parents got divorced when I was about 10 and had been separated since I was about 8, but I didn't mind because they were rubbish together.

my dad just came back from a week away and brought his new girlfriend back with him, his first one (that I know of) since my mum. so I met her last night, had the most awkward minute or so of my life as we stood alone smiling at each other in my hall. she seems nice but this is a really bizarre change for me.

anyone else gone through similar family things/changes?
