I saw this on the way home the other nightGODIMCOOL and it was the usual film crew stereotypes filming what seemed to be an older version of Doves and I watched in glee as they mimed along to whatever had got them signed in the first place and just thought that they LOOKED WRONG. Really archaic, yet a record company was willing in this age to fork out wedge to produce a video that about 17 people will see and care about. Am sure they're probably a band off here and now I'll get told off but all of a sudden just standing there seeing a band under flashbulbs on a windy wet day in a horrible part of East London made me think long and hard about how many redundant forms of media there are in the digital age and also at the same time how slow we are in clinging to old cliches instead of developing new sounds and ideas.
