I remembered, in a conversation last night, something fantastic that I'd forgotten.

When I was about 17 (so this is 1998-1999ish), one weekend morning, my younger sister came and woke me up, shouting 'you've got to come and watch Fully Booked! Now! Gorky's Zygotic Mynci are on it!' I went downstairs, and sure enough they were, playing Sweet Johnny as far as I remember. It was great.

I asked my sister how they'd introduced it on the programme, and she said that someone had written a letter saying 'why do you always have bands like Boyzone on? You should have a really good indie band on for a change'.

Does anyone else remember this? I can't find it on YouTube, or any references to it. But I know it happened!
