Some notes on the FREE! With the Obseerver - a guide to ROck and Pop

prole-art-threat [Edit] [Delete] 14:05, 15 October '07

Well it was better than the OBM excrement this month, with 'Peter' Doherty on the cover with McCartney. Anyway this free book - ideal for a book to read on the bog or to give my 6 month old daughter when she's a year old.

Anyone read it - it had 'bitesize' guides to music genres with a list of songs to download so that YOU THE READER can become an instant POP/BLUES/RAP/FOLK fan with our list of MUST HAVE songs to denote each grouping. For some reason I found this section especially horrible as if you can seal each genre into 5 songs - the pop section especially made me be sick backwards AND - seriously reading it is believing it. Who are these things aimed at - people who dress and think like Martin Brundle? I can tell you now even the most loosest member of the This Sporting Life Organisation would find this excreble.

yours,

Music snob
