i just got a letter telling me i've been randomly selected from the electoral register "for includsion in the list of potential jurors for this Sheriff Court District". and my name would be kept on it for two years or until they ask me to do it.

how likely is it that i'll be asked to do it, like, any time soon? i'd like to do it, despite how boring i've heard it can be, but i'm a student and if it took any length of time it wouldn't be good!
