t'other day I bought a Blue Monday 12" from ebay for just under eight quid. It was just a crappy surprise gift for somebody as she lost her copy ages ago. It was a 1983 pressing (not one of those dodgy 1988 resissues) and in 'good condition'. It had the original Factory black sleeve with the coloured tabs down the side etc

Does this price sound about right? I'm probably wildly off the mark, but I could've sworn I saw one go on there a few weeks back for about 40 quid. But there's no way that can be true, surely?

I don't want to hand it over only to be laughed out of the room for my incompetence :(
