I never used to get punished much 'cos I was a relatively well behaved kid and good at worming my way out of the trouble I did get in but I now realise that lines were not in fact a punishment at all but a form of training for getting a real job and finding yourself writing the same sentences and repeating the same tasks over and over day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.

I fucking hate my life.
