Renting and law and stuff.

cheap-tat [Edit] [Delete] 20:45, 18 October '07

Ok, so I'm renting a flat through a letting agency and today we got a letter addressed to the occupier. The letter is a court summons for November for my landlord and his wife by a mortgage company. He doesn't live here though he lives in Peterborough.
I'm guessing he's not been paying the mortgage but I don't know what to do. Do I contact the solicitor who sent the letter or my letting agent? If they reposses the house do I get to see out my contract or will I be homeless? Does anyone know anything about the law regarding this?
