I have this weird problem with my MAC in that when I have a USB stick or MP3 player plugged in and try to move songs or files from the USB thing to the trash can, they disappear from the USB stick or MP3 player folder but no memory gets freed up on USB Stick/MP3 player.

Any idea why or what I have to do to delete files properly?
