so the other day me + my firend were on our way to the shop to get some food when a group (gang?) of 4 'kids', who were probably about 15, came up to us and enquired as to whether we would kindly go and buy them some fireworks for them. After protracted debate, we refused, and one of the kids, after having previously enquired whether we were looking to get mugged today, warned us to 'watch our backs' on our way out of the shop.

So:

1) would you have bought them fireworks? if you were threatened? na dit meant going out of your way into a different shop and queueing?

2) what would you do if a kid told you he planned on mugging you? ignore him? tell him to fuck off home, isn't it past his bedtime?

i also considered ringing the police to tell them a) these kids are trying to buy fireworks and b) they are threatening violence at people who don't get them for them

also later on that evening we saw a load of kids running around outside firing these fireworks (roman candles?) at each other like rocket launchers - are they INSANE? nah probably just stupid...
