For me, the best working stand-up comedian on the planet at the moment. If you don't know him, imagine Hicks with more drink/drugs and less optimism. From the Guardian;

"Recorded live in Edinburgh, this one off sees American comedian Doug Stanhope taking on anti-immigration opinion. It's nothing spectacularly original but Stanhope's use of a live show mixed with footage of him chatting to a Scottish BNP campaigner & Polish farm workers is inspired. Best of all is the comics appearance on a local phone-in show & getting into an angry debate with a Scot who claims to have lost his job packing boxes to Polish workers. This is the kind of politically sharp comedy that's all too infrequent on TV."
