Always a controversial subject. I have sympathy for the work the charity does for soldiers who were conscripted to serve in both world wars.

However I disagree entirely with the fact that we are meant to commemorate and enumerate soldiers who have died since fighting for professional armies in pointless wars. It's surely up to the employer (MoD) to compensate and help soldiers with any difficulties they have during and after combat.

So as soon as everyone who fought in the two world wars are dead I think poppies should die a very quick death.
