Someone just rang me and asked to be put through to my boss.

I try my boss's number and she doesn't pick up.

I go back to talk to the caller (who I think is the PA of someone fairly senior) and I tell her my boss isn't in her office at the moment.

Her: "Well I need to speak with her".

Me: (slightly confused) "Well, she isn't there".

Her: "Well I need to speak with her"

What the fuck did she expect me to do exactly?
