whaaay - i got sacked so am going to Thailand for an awesome (lads) holiday! im all over this like a melted shellsuit and have just come back from getting my jabs and have already booked a flight, all within about 48whrs after hearing the 'bad news'.

on a bit of a whim here and really don't know too much about Thailand other than what pals have told me (world class ping pong shows, lady boys, fine foods & cool people) and stuff i have seen on uk travel channel.

im super excited mainly about meeting two BFFs that have been out there for almost 2yrs now (it must be good) and the prospect of just really kicking back and doing some serious relaxing.

staying in Bangkok with mates for a week then doing the usual touristy things i spose. Wondering if anyone here has been to Thailand and might offer suggestions/stories/advice on cool stuff/places to see/do? how much £ would I need for a comfortable 3wks? is Cambodia really worth it? Can i really eat a Gaboon Viper? why? is it still Monsoon season/does this mean i can't go to the beach? I want to try kite-surfing! what's the food like? suitcase or travel bag?
