is that genuinely construed as a good or bad thing?

I ask this in the following context:-

We're on the same course together, met in September, have got on REALLY well with her since, had some 'fun' with her a couple of times (latest time was on Monday night) and she seems to really like me, although I think she's a bit hesitant to go any further with things (i.e. relationship-wise). She did say the other night that she was starting to like me...

...meh, I dunno, it's just that alarm bells start ringing in my head when girls say they 'need a chat'.

Any thoughts/comments/advice at this point would be great!
