Do you think TV executives actually watch TV?

TheoGB [Edit] [Delete] 14:33, 19 November '07

The ones who commission and can programmes I mean?

There are only six episodes of Twin Peaks left to watch and I'm finding I don't remember that much from 15 odd years ago, but I do remember the cliffhanger ending.

And I was just thinking how could an executive kill that show? I mean really, don't they watch TV? Isn't that they're job? Do you think any of them watched the series later and went, "WTF? I was TOTALLY watching that and some arsehole got rid of it? Let me check that record...shit, it was me. How much crack was I smoking back in '91?"

I can't see it happening but equally I can't really see how anyone who liked TV and liked stories could ever pull the plug on a show.
