Last week radio 4 had a programme about British comedians going around the world. They had a university researcher who did some work on what different people found funny.

His poll found the most popular joke for germans was:

Scientists have recently found that over time the moon's orbit has been getting further and further away from the Earth. Estimates show that 65 million years ago it was just 36 feet above the ground, this explains the exstinction of the dinosaurs...
