Songs for the Deaf

Dead_Deer [Edit] [Delete] 16:37, 19 November '07

This has probably been discussed before, but nevermind. I am 21 years old and have been going to gigs since I was 14. Music is my life, playing listening and watching, and have recently discovered what this has been doing to my hearing. Now due to being supremely naive in my early days, sound protection was not something I thought about. I eventually got round to wearing ear plugs at gigs by 20, but even now i often forget to. Uni has not been good to my hearing, and wearing plugs in a nightclub isn't something people consider (in my experience anyway). I now get tinnitus and often feel a dullness in my ear, which annoys me so much as it makes me think twice about going to the next gig/night out. Share your tinnitus/earplug anecdotes. The fun we have....
