I'm literally all alone on my floor. Everyone's been at their annual conference since yesterday morning.

Yesterday I was offered a permanent role elsewhere, contacted the agency, to get out of this, but they want two weeks notice. I need the guy in charge of me to convince them that I'll be a waste of space here for two weeks.

Otherwise am I going to have to sit here doing none of the unimportant work they've set me, listening to an inferior internet radio because last.fm is banned, for two whole weeks?

On the plus side I'm totally getting paid to listen to Bob Log III.

Or not. One guy has returned from the conference. He works in a distant corner of this floor. He might be the MD for all I know. This is going to curtail my music listening, but not make me do any work. Boring.
