Am I the only person on here to remember this? MBV/JAMC/Blur/Dinosaur Jnr - typically I didn't 'get my shit' together to get a ticket in time so drove over with some friends from Wells to Cardiff hoping I'd get one outside which I did and as you can imagine I was very excited. Probably the most exciting 'special night' I've been to though JAMC were a bit confusing for me as my ears were hurt after MBV. One of the people I went with actually had blood in his ears afterwards. That's a gig for you - i accidentally pissed on a drunk man as all the toilets were cubicles out the back (it was cardiff icerink) - Dinosaur Jnr were 4 guntrips being lazy and I just 'waited' for 'Freak Scene' and Blur were trying to be punk and played Popscene for the first time and played 'There's No Other Way' in a really shit way. MBV were loud though there was one moment during a song where I thought I'd never need to hear another piece of music as the cacophony was a symphophy within itself.

afterwards I got a T shirt for a fiver outside which annoyed my mates who like the 'I've got my tickets' screaming blahs that they were snaffled up all the expensive ones inside - and they were shit. I still have mine and do DIY in it. I also smoked about 40 Royal Lights that night and a bottle of Bulmers in the car on the way up.
