Modern life: Is it rubbish? (Nothingtodowithblurcentric)

Alex-in-Ciderland [Edit] [Delete] 18:08, 27 November '07

Comedy house prices, rising rents, below inflation pay rises, strikes, ludicrously expensive fuel, warnings of an economic downturn, people with masters degrees working the tills at Waterstones, lack of trust in any of the political parties, the consumer credit debt timebomb, the run on Northern Rock, declining social mobility, a wider gap between rich and poor than at any point since Dickensian times, growing isolation as people increasingly interact through the internet or shut themselves away at home with multi-media gadgetry at the expense of real life interpersonal experiences.

Or perhaps you've just bought the new iPod with built in shark deterrent alarm, waffle toaster and integrated flange magnet and think everything is great!
