more information than you should know

loamiathon [Edit] [Delete] 00:34, 6 December '07

last night i went to karaoke and met some new people (they weren't like newborn babies - i just mean people who i didn't know existed until last night). they sang journey and they seemed fun. so i added them on facebook. and i browse their profiles. one of these "new" people added someone else the same minute she added me. i went to this person's profile wondering if they too were at karaoke last night.

she seemed familiar, but not from karaoke. i worked out i recognise her from the pizza shop down the road. well now i not only know her name but also that she smokes, that she likes a terrible band from ireland and that she comes from a small town in manitoba.

will the next time i go to the pizza shop be better or worse knowing this info?

this is just a recent example, this kind of stuff happens all the time. to me at least...what about you? do you wander into your local pub knowing that the guy behind the bar went to school in wigan and his favourite smell is wet grass?
