My 'work shoes' are falling apart, I'm contemplating buying some nice brogues, but, I keep having Nam' style flashbacks to that scene in Peep Show where Mark is in Aldo or wherever it was and decides to get brogues (again) on the basis that you may as well stick to something trusty and dependable.

This worries me a bit...are brogues now alright. Do they combine a somewhat roguish debonair quality with a timeless and very British sense of style....or will I look a middle aged accountant from Cirencester?
