Or does anyone else hate Christmas? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great for kids, but I live by myself and think it's a huge waste of time. Plastering your home with cheap, tacky twinkly things, spending a fortune on presents and paying for it for the next year. All the trouble of inviting family round, making a huge lunch then everyone just vegging in front of the TV. All this for one day? It's just so commercialised. If you asked any child what the meaning of Christmas is would they really say Christ's birth? Doubtful!

PS, yes I know I'm a scrooge!
