I've had an offer to get out of London and go and spend it up in the Yorkshire Dales in a beautiful old converted farmhouse.

Questions:

Will it be too ridiculously freezing to like, say, go on long walks?

How long does it take to drive there from London?

What else can one do in the region..? although the thought of sitting still for four days is very tempting...
