Advice on etiquette in accepting invitations and Devon

Rose-Kitten [Edit] [Delete] 17:42, 19 December '07

I've just been invited to spend NYE in Devon with some acquaintances I've known for about four years. Great - lovely, you say. Only catch is that I think this person who invited me might actually harbour secret desires, and I'd hate to be stuck in Deveon of all places without an escape route.

I have no interest in this person, never have, and never will... and he has drunkenly asked me out before but that was straight after he split with his gfriend earlier this year.. (cliche)

By accepting, does this indicate that I might be 'interested' when I am not? I have no fucking idea what the ettiquette is these days but fancy the idea of getting out of London now that I am not going away for xmas.

Can you fly back from Devon to London quickly ie is there an airport route..?
