I haven't really paid much attention to this yet, but it seems absolutely great from the Channel 4 News report.

The Democrat candidacy looks to be won by either a black man or a woman.

The Republican candidacy looks to be won by either a Mormon, or a strict Catholic with Chuck Norris as a running mate.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Surely none have universal appeal and there are going to be huge percentages of the US population unhappy and dead against whoever wins?
