has anyone else managed to catch this yet? i watched it last night and it crippled me. it's just so devestatingly sad. :(

julian schnabel is a genius. i loved the way he conveyed this sense of claustrophobia so intensely and the film looked stunning. the first half hour is so inventive. would really like to read the book now.
