Anyone been watching these? Its always good to fill in any gaps in your knowledge or learn things for the first time but I noted with UTTER DISDAIN that on Friday's 60s entrepreneur one they didn't mention the legendary Joe Meek and [insert geek's knowall voice] the incorrectly credited The Animals version of 'House of the Rising Sun' as the first US Number 1 by a British group when in fact every pop scholar knows, or indeed should know, that it was 'Telstar' by The Tornados [geek voice ends)

I'm traumatised that I missed the 50s one which I imagine the aforementioned Mr Meek was mentioned OUT OF CONTEXT no doubt.

Anyway, anyone else watching this the wonderful fare on offer on BBC4 then?
