Get a PSP

jonny_rat [Edit] [Delete] 15:20, 15 January '08

Never thought I'd be saying this. I picked up one of the new slim PSP models last week with custom firmware all installed up; with a bit of work (and a 2gb memory card) I've suddenly found myself with a lovely looking little bit of kit (the LCD widescreen is really amazing) that does the following (all a couple of menu screens away):

Plays full games off a memory card (rip your own from disc, or be a FILTHY PIRATE and get them off interwebs).
Plays PSOne games.
Runs SNES, Megadrive, GBA, and arcade emulators (among others).
Runs a surprisingly workable web browser when there's wi-fi nearby.
Connects to shoutcast internet radio (within moments of running it, it had found me a Field Music track).
Browses videos on youtube, dailymotion and Stage6 (again, among others).

It's heaven for a crusty videogamer. Castlevania: Symphony of the night, Final Fantasy 6, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Shadowrun and Super Mario World all in one place.

Oh, and it displays pornographic images and videos.

PSP: for the wanker on the go.
