Ladies and gentleman, we have reached a new level of tenuousness in McCann-centric news reporting.

This all sounds very intriguing until you read the article and find they define "near" as 120 miles away. So essentially it's like assuming a girl going missing in Bristol is related to a girl going missing six months later in East London which, whilst it's obviously possible it could be connected, isn't necessarily likely to be so.

The silliness of the press at times really frustrates me.
