Doe sanyone know how these work? Apparently I can pay in checks by post of via the post office, but what about cash?

My mate who has an account with Smile said "I don't know, I've never paid cash into my account, I don't have the need".

WTF??!!! So she's opened an account without knowing if she can pay actual MONEY into her BANK ACCOUNT. Fucking mental.

Anyone know if you can?
