Today I got an email from UCL saying if I went to one of their open days they'd give me a place which should have made me happy. Sadly it left me feeling a bit confused and slightly wistful.

Then I watched this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd-fufbjeo0 and it made me feel rather giggly. I took my Smena out on the streets and despite the advance mechanism jamming on the second roll of Velvia it's made me hugely, almost scarily happy. Never have I been so overjoyed by an illuminated pharmacy sign or the sight of a speeding van with Newsflash scrawled on it's side. I think I'm going to turn into one of those scary bouncy people who wears children's clothing from the 80s.

Anyone else have stuff that has a similar sway on them?
