My niece is graduating University later this year, and will be requiring a laptop to use for graphic work, holding her photography, and for running presentations on. She will be traveling around presenting her jewelry designs, and so she needs something reliable, sturdy (as she is clumsy), and powerful enough to do what she wants to do.

My sister wants to go the Mac route, which I agree with. However, neither of us have ever used Macs, and I have no idea what a Macbook is, a Macbook Pro, one of those new Macbook Airs, etc.

What is best suited?
