Say a terrorist group was planning to perform a huge attack, like with a dirty bomb or something, in the area your family lived.

If 'the authorities' found out about it using harsh interrogation methods (ie. almost torture), but saved thousands of lives (including yours and your folks'), would you still oppose these methods on grounds of principle?
