please help me. I want to buy a cheap train ticket to brighton for april, but the national rail enquiries and trainline websites seem unwilling to tell me how to do this.

Has anyone ever actually successfully bought super cheap train tickets? Or is it just a myth?!

How do you do it? Do I have to phone them up?
