I generally don't hug people.

My friends think this is weird. I think it's weird that they need the stupid hello/goodbye hugs (which hardly even qualify as hugs) to be reassured that we are in fact friends, or whatever it's for.

It's not like I hate hugging, that would be crazy, but I prefer to have a good reason to give a good hug, rather than the quick impersonal hugs that mean nothing. I don't like those. But will give them to people who don't know about my dislike for them and when it might be rude to refuse.
