hi this may seem like a stupid question, but if this weather was forcing train services to be cancelled, where could you find out about it on the internet?

if it was london transport, tfl would be good, but all i've thought of to check for national stuff is the national rail site, which doesnt make any mention of snow anywhere obvious, and which lists its timetable as being the same as it was before the snow. does this mean that its unaffected, or that its just a shit site?
