So yesteday my glasses frame came apart and one of the lenses fell out.

Obviously this could have been a fairly cheap thing to repair (or I could have just saved the lenses and bought a new frame).

However I decided I'd repair them myself.

I bought some superglue and glued my glasses back together.

This worked but I got the glasses covered in superglue.

I then looked up superglue remover and discovered nail polish remover should do the job.

I bought some nail polish remover.

I applied it and worked hard to clean the glasses.

This appears to be working but I've scratched the lenses to buggery.

So now through no fault of anyone's but my own I should probably think about gettng new glasses (I've got my old glasses for the interim but they're slightly too weak).

So how much is this gonna cost me? I'm not a student and have to pay full whack. I've no particular desire to spend any more than necessary.
