I cry pretty often (but never in front of people). Do you cry a lot? Do others crying make you feel uncomfortable?

I can see the emotional and mental benefits of it, but what is the point in it really? I mean from a basic, instinct or evolution stand point.. Is it just a way of communiating fear and pain?
