i never handed in my p45 at my job in the summer as i was assured the managers were useless and would fuck it up so i got charged emergency tax. I have my pay slips and my p45 but i rang the tax office and the woman on the phone seemed to have no idea what she was on about. So what do i actually do to get my money back?
